International Family Transitions helps support international students whether they are:

• Third culture kids (TCKs) repatriating to their home countries for high school or college / university,
• TCKs transitioning to another host country for university, or
• foreign nationals transitioning to their new host country for college / university.

IFT assists parents and the educational institutions that support them in making these transitions.

Students who are prepared before their international transition or immediately upon arrival are equipped to:

• avoid common pitfalls and unpleasant surprises,
• deal effectively with transition shock,
• better understand themselves and others as they adjust to their new life situations, and
• carry with them a degree of self confidence to deal with the unexpected.
